Buying Policy and Other Information

New Clothing Limit!!!

We have introduced a "2 bin limit" for clothing effective immediately. By "2 bin limit" we mean approximately two 20L rubbermaid containers (or their equivalent) is the most we will look at / purchase from any customer per visit. We have introduced this limit to help keep wait times to a reasonable limit.

We Buy From You!

Just bring in your gently used clothing, toys, and baby products to us and we'll give you cash for items that we can re-sell.

Alternatively you can choose to accept "In-Store Credit". This allows you to receive even more money than you would with cash, and you can spend it on ANYTHING in our store!

Whether you take the cash or the in-store credit, you are paid up front. You do not have to wait until the items sell as with consignment shops.

NOTE: Sellers must be at least 18 years of age.

How Much Will I Get?

Presentation is extremely important. We pay according to many factors, including condition, style, age, season, and of course demand for the item.

As these factors are constantly changing we are unable to have any set price or percentage for the items we buy. It is best to simply bring your items down for us to look at in order for us to give an exact quote on how much we can pay.

When Can I Sell My Items?

Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Buying is done "first-come first-served". Allow for at least a 30 minute wait.

And Where Do I Go Exactly?

When selling items, park along the east side of the building and look for the big red door (see picture above). Ring the door bell and one of our friendly staff will greet you and give you further instructions. You may leave your vehicle parked at our buying entrance for as long as you like while you shop in our storefront.

Buying Policies

We prefer items to be brought in either in plastic bins or small boxes. Not in bags.

Here are some details as to what we look for in our different departments:

Clothing: NEW: We have a 2 x 20 gal. bin limit when bringing in clothes. Clothing is bought seasonally, so please call ahead to find out specifically what season of clothing we are looking for right now. Clothing must be freshly washed. Items with stains, rips, or tears will be rejected. We take Boys, Girls, Yound Adult, Ladies, and Maternity. Do not simply bring items out of storage to sell to us. We prefer items to be washed within the week prior to being brought to our store. Styles must be modern. People want to buy items that they can find in new retail styles right now.
Toys: We take most toys so long as they are clean and have no missing parts or pieces. Because of this we do not accept puzzles above 100 pieces, larger lego sets that require all pieces to be present, or other similar items that would simply take too long for us to check. Toys don't go out of style as quickly as clothing, but we still prefer to take more modern toys.
Baby Needs: This is where Safety is of the utmost importance. Most employees of our store have families of their own. We would never buy or sell any product we would not feel comfortable using for our own children. We check EVERY item to make sure there are no safety recalls and that they meet all Canadian safety regulations. Items that do not meet safety regulations will be rejected. Please check our "links for safety" at the bottom of this page for information on recalls. Again, items must be clean and in good condtion to be accepted.

Return Policy:

You may return any unsatisfactory purchase within 14 days for in-store credit provided that you have the original receipt, the item is intact, and in the same condition as when sold, with the tickets still attached. Reduced items are final sale.
